Two journalists from The Australian spent years digging into the real story behind tech giant Atlassian, and turned it into a book.

It traces how two UNSW graduates built a global software company from a Glebe share house into a NASDAQ listed giant worth more than $100 billion at its peak.
Along the way, Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar became best men at each other's weddings and eventually bought mansions next door to each other in Point Piper.

But the book also uncovers how internal tensions, diverging lifestyles and a neighbourhood renovation dispute ultimately drove a wedge between them, turning one of Australia's greatest business partnerships into one of its most quietly broken.

🚨Today, the British government finally said it plainly:
Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory is unlawful, and there is ethnic cleansing of Palestinians taking place in areas of the occupied West Bank.

The UK has announced a ban on goods from illegal Israeli settlements, alongside restrictions on arms licences and other exports that materially contribute to the occupation.
France and Canada will also ban trade in settlement goods.

This is a significant diplomatic shift and a long-overdue acknowledgement of what Palestinians have endured for decades.

Recognition must now be followed by meaningful action, accountability and an end to British complicity.

Anyone who is in their right mind and knows how to reason understands this.

1) You already have a national debt of 2.5 trillion euros, and no serious economist knows how you plan to pay it. (Alice Weidel declares her country bankrupt.)
Now, you want to borrow another 1 trillion to arm yourselves against us.

2) Your country is full of millions of migrants who cost 50 billion euros a year.

3) A considerable part of your population is so disturbed that they believe they can influence the climate by riding bicycles and eating insects.

4) Your education system used to be exemplary.
Today, in many classrooms, there is virtually no teaching because almost no one speaks German.

5) Your infrastructure is in ruins and you can't keep up with the pace of repairs.

6) Your railways used to be a source of pride for the entire world.
Today, your trains run like they do in India.

7) We don't need your famous engineers.
During the sanctions, we learned that we can live without them.
But if we really needed them, we would turn to China.
There, they are not only cheaper, but
also better.

8) You have no raw materials or energy sources.
So why should we conquer your country?
To solve problems we wouldn't even have otherwise?
Let's be realistic: even if you called us,
surrendered and raised the white flag, we wouldn't go!"
