BEFORE OPENING DAY

On the Sydney Coliseum Theatre project in Rooty Hill, Ricky and the team were approaching the final stages of the job.

But close to completion, an issue emerged with the finish on some doors and components.
The team had to reassess the situation, prepare the surfaces again and plan the repainting all while keeping the project moving towards its deadline.

For Ricky, it came down to staying calm, communicating clearly and working through the problem with the team.

The issue was resolved, the work moved forward, and everything was completed before opening day.

Because precision isn’t only about getting things right the first time. It’s also about how you respond when things don’t go to plan.

In modern homes, wall texture quietly sets the tone for the entire space. Looking back at this residential project completed by our Smallworx team, the clean lines created a perfect setting for natural light and colour to come together seamlessly.

Design gives a home its soul, while a quiet finish is the foundation that holds the whole vision together.

A smooth day on site often starts before the work itself does.

For Ricky, that means arriving early and walking the site, seeing what’s happening, checking which trades are working, understanding what they need from each other, and making sure schedules line up.

On a busy construction site, one trade can easily affect the next. That’s why Ricky keeps coming back to three things: Planning Communication Coordination.

It’s not just about knowing what your own team needs to do. It’s about understanding what’s happening around you and making sure the work can keep moving.

Because good project delivery doesn’t start with the first brushstroke.
It starts with being prepared.

Precision doesn’t need noise.
