Piles of cut & painted rhizomous bamboo making a loud popping noise when being burned at a bush regeneration site at Glenorie today. 8 ecological burn piles were burned today in an area of remnant Sydney Hinterland Forest where the Ecohort team worked hard to treat a 4,000m2 area of rhizomous bamboo. It will be good to see what native plants regenerate in this area, after the w**ding & burning.
