“We’re not saving lives” is something you often hear in the workplace to calm the pressure.

But this team actually plays a role in some cases, of doing just that.

Every day, they are involved in a business that plays a pivotal role in helping patients at their most vulnerable - when something is wrong with their health. In some cases, they play a role in diagnosis that can actually saves the lives of Australians.

That’s what we explored yesterday with the team at I-MED Radiology Network during our workshop with their Account Management team.

Their referrers: busy, highly-skilled healthcare professionals — have high expectations. Account managers can sometimes feel like they’re interrupting rather than adding value. And often, they’re the first port of call when things go wrong.

We reframed that. Instead of feeling like “just another salesperson,” what if we remembered our value? What if we saw patients as the true end goal — and saving their lives as the reason to get in front of referrers?

The old adage rings true: you have to believe in what you do.

Because in this case, their service can quite literally mean the difference between poor or good health outcomes. Or, even in some cases, life and death.

So if you’re a Sales Rep, BDM, Account Manager or CRM — let your offering’s impact be the thing that drives you forward.

While I’m off dancing on tables, blowing up balloons 🎈 and dreaming up wild ideas, Cam’s the calm, level and business head in amongst the chaos, the spreadsheet whisperer, and the one keeping everything sorted and on track

Where would you rather be on a Friday?We have so enjoyed out recent project over the last few months. Presentation and facilitation are skills many avoid.. and when we started there was the usual anxiety… now we have people volunteering to come! The people and culture and leadership team are to be commended for continuing to invest in their people…. LETS GO!!
