Many women are struggling right now. Carrying a load that is too heavy. Trying to fit everything in, as well as working a full day to bring an income into the home.

Others are flying solo and we know how hard that can be.

Then of course, there’s our self-doubting thinking. That we will never achieve what we want to, grow in our careers like we have always dreamed or have caring, happy relationships in our life.

And then of course, we don’t back ourselves. We don’t stand up for ourselves when we should or stand our ground when we need to.

Simply, we give our power away at work and home and then….. our self-confidence is eroded.

To help women everywhere, we are running a 6 stage Empowering Women to Thrive online Program for all women. For you. For your sister, cousin, best friend, aunt …. or any woman you feel would benefit.

Written for women by a woman, this thought-provoking Program (that is also run face to face) has been designed to help all women, at all levels both professionally and personally both within Australia and internationally.

Share this information with your staff, friends, networks, colleagues, aunties, mothers and cousins… you may not know the situation in which women are, so let’s help them.

Participants can choose to attend all the sessions or only some.

5 Top Tips to Help Women Grow in Confidence

Every day, I see many women who struggle with confidence. Is this you?

From trying on a new dress in front of a shop assistant and going for an interview, to speaking up in a team meeting or joining a committee.

So many women seem to struggle.

We read books or google how to build confidence – but do we really make the changes we need to?

When we see women shining around us, we marvel at things they do and wonder where they got the confidence they have. It’s not always the fact though.

In all my years of coaching, training and counselling women (of any age) I see the same three things with which most struggle:

A lack of confidence
Not backing themselves
A lack of assertiveness and not standing their ground

6 Ways to Empower your People to be their very best!

We hear the word ‘empower’ regularly, but do we really know what it means? Do we know how to empower ourselves and others, truly?

To empower essentially means the process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in having control over your life and what you do.

In the area of leadership, is means helping your people grow to be the very best version of themselves that they can be. To give them the skills and liberty to do what they would like to do, and support them whilst doing so.

Sadly, we don’t always witness this from leaders. Perhaps they don’t realise they are not helping their people, or maybe it’s just not their priority.

Part of our role when working with CEO’s and in Organisations is to help senior leaders learn what empowerment is and how to move their people towards it.

Ask them what their Vision for their career is
Help them uncover the area of Genius (we all have one)
Live the behaviours you want them to embrace (in other words, if you are a leader, behave like one)
Give your team the autonomy to do it on their own (goodbye micro-managing)
Let them come up with their own solutions
Be a giver
