That familiar triangle symbol on plastic packaging doesn’t mean an item can go straight into your recycling bin.

The number inside tells you the type of plastic, not whether it’s accepted for recycling.

Before tossing it in, think about checking your local council's guidelines or put it in your next Pickup!

Your old printer cartridge has a second life waiting 🖨️✨

But first - it needs to avoid the kerbside bin.

Through specialised recycling, printer cartridges can be separated into valuable materials:
♻️ Plastics → packaging & construction products
🔩 Metals → recovered for reuse
🛣️ Toner powder → transformed into TonerPlas, an asphalt additive used in road construction
