As a learning experience designer in a big organisation, you get allocated / assigned design tasks that address business requirements and more often, you don’t get to choose what projects come your way. While they can cover various subjects, some can be interesting and some can be dry. I guess that proves that ‘not all subjects are created equal’.

But every now and then, a piece of work lands on your lap that is, not only interesting, but also significant and timely. So designing this topic to make it an engaging and meaningful learning experience is of primary importance.

The end product is the Lendlease’s Mission Zero Ready module. This course demonstrates the role of the built environment in contributing to climate change and the actions that Lendlease is taking - including its people’s contribution - to reduce its carbon emissions, committing to its ambitious ‘Absolute Zero by 2040’ target.

I’m proud to share that this module got a Gold Award for Best eLearning Project in this year’s LearnX event.
