Moir Group is proud to be sponsoring the Nature Conservation Council NSW Business Breakfast once again, marking the fourth time we have supported this event.

It is always such a fantastic morning and we are very much looking forward to it again.

Join us on February 25th for a timely conversation on what’s next for business in Australia’s climate transition. This year’s breakfast features a significant reunion of two of Australia’s most influential climate leaders: The Hon Chris Bowen MP, Minister for Climate Change and Energy, and The Hon. Matt Kean, Chair of the Climate Change Authority.

Moderated by environmental strategist Jo Taranto, the discussion will explore the next phase of the energy transition and what it means for businesses, including:

🔵 Where Australia is tracking on emissions reduction

🔵 Australia international climate commitments and COP outcomes

🔵 How proposed EPBC Act reforms may shape future policy

🔵 Opportunities for business in the next phase of the transition

We look forward to bringing together business leaders to hear directly from those shaping Australia’s climate agenda.

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲: Wednesday 25 February 2026

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 7:30–9:00am (from 7:00am arrival)

𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲: Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney

We hope you can join us for breakfast and a robust discussion on what’s next for climate action in Australia.

Following on from our first CFO Women Connect breakfast for 2026, here are a few of the key takeaways from Sue Rosen, FCA, PCC session on leadership identity:

🔵 Pause and reflect
Taking time to lift your head from the day-to-day and reflect on how the year has felt, not just what was achieved.

🔵 Acknowledge achievements
Many high achievers move straight on to the next challenge. Creating space to recognise what’s gone well builds confidence and clarity.

🔵 Learn with self-compassion
When things don’t go to plan, curiosity is more powerful than self-criticism. Reflection helps identify what to carry forward and what to let go.

🔵 Be intentional about leadership identity
Understanding the “gifts” and “costs” of how we lead today and being deliberate about how we want to show up in the future.

🔵 Small, consistent steps matter
Leadership growth doesn’t require big leaps. Small changes in habits and behaviours can make a meaningful difference over time.

Thank you again to Sue Rosen for guiding such a thoughtful discussion and to the women who contributed so openly.

If you’re a female CFO and would like to join us for one of the upcoming breakfasts, please feel free to reach out at [email protected].

This morning, Moir Group hosted the first of three CFO Women Connect breakfasts for 2026, in partnership with Sue Rosen, FCA, PCC.

It was a great morning, with a room full of experienced female CFOs and senior finance leaders coming together for an open and thoughtful discussion to start the year.

The session focused on leadership identity, taking time to look back on the year that’s been, recognising what’s gone well, learning from what hasn’t and thinking about how we want to show up as leaders in 2026.

A big thank you to Sue Rosen for leading another excellent session and to the women who joined us and shared their perspectives so openly. The experience in the room really showed in the discussion.

We genuinely value these conversations and the opportunity to bring senior finance leaders together. We will be sharing a few key takeaways from the session shortly.

If you’re a female CFO and would like to join us for one of the upcoming breakfasts, please feel free to reach out at [email protected]. You would be very welcome to join us.

We invite you to join our first breakfast for the year in our quarterly series, CFO Women Connect, held in Sydney CBD.

This event is for senior female finance leaders and will be led by Sue Rosen, FCA, PCC, Executive Coach.

Last year, Moir Group partnered with Sue Rosen on a series of leadership events for senior female finance leaders. They were excellent and very popular. In addition, they are a great way to help build your network with like-minded leaders. We are pleased to be partnering with Sue again this year, focusing on a different aspect of leadership.

Join us for the first session of CFO Women Connect and create a strategic pause to kickstart your year.

Have you created the space to be intentional about what is ahead for you in 2026?
Who do you want to BE as a leader this year?

Stepping up to the next level or deepening your capacity to lead through complexity and uncertainty can only happen when you create the space and time for reflection.

You will leave this breakfast with:

🔵 Increased clarity on the leader you want to be and how to move towards that
🔵 Greater insight into your leadership identity and how it shows up day to day
🔵 The opportunity to connect with like-minded women in senior finance roles

Last week, we hosted the first in a series of four 'CFO Women Connect' breakfasts, in partnership with Sue Rosen, FCA, PCC. It was a fantastic session with a room full of female CFOs.

The focus of the discussion was leadership presence—taking the time to reflect on “How do I walk into the room?”, identifying strengths, and exploring “What are the stories that have shaped me?” and “What is one defining moment in my career that made me the leader I am today?”

The room was filled with energy, ideas, and a wealth of CFO experience.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us at our Moir Group Christmas party last night. It was a big turn out and there was a great buzz.

It was so much fun to get together in person, reflect on the past year and have some laughs too. We were also able to express our thanks for your ongoing partnership with Moir Group. It is really appreciated.

There were many people there last night that we have partnered with over the almost 18 years that we have been in business. It is very special.

This year at Moir Group, our business has gone forward year on year. That is a big achievement in the current economic climate. That is due to our fabulous candidate community, to our clients of which many have been long time supporters of our business and to our stakeholders. Many were with us last night. It is also very importantly due to the Moir Group team. They are passionate about our values and how we do business, they strive to do their very best and to provide an excellent service. They are also great fun.

We hope you enjoy the remainder of 2024, have a really enjoyable festive period and a relaxing break. We look forward to partnering with you again in 2025.
