Great experience to be able to visit the Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg Monday as a delegate of APS Industrial and Siemens

Really disappointing to think that the Australian car manufacturing industry could have thrived if it attempted the level of automation seen in Europe today and attempted disruption…a real lost opportunity…if only I was a 70s baby

There was some really neat customer experiences like the automated garage where they park you until you arrive to take delivery of your vehicle, the Porsche selfie which makes you look like a poster for their range, personalisation everywhere….VW factory is 89% automated but employs 60,000 people 😳

If you order a VW and want a trip to Germany highly recommend the experience of local delivery look into it, the smile on the owners faces we’re priceless
