🤔 If you're still on the fence, wondering if Sales Management Masterclass is for you - let me answer some of the questions that are popping up in my inbox right now...

Q. I already know the basics of sales management, is this course still suitable for me? 🤷‍♀️
A. 100%! In the course we break down the 4 key pillars and dive further into what each area needs to take your basic skills to the next level and beyond. You’ll benefit from my proven strategies and experience and understand where possible gaps may exist in your current structure. None of us are perfect and sometimes a different perspective can unlock a new way of thinking to help improve your impact.

Q. Can I still enrol even though I’m very new to sales management? 🤔
A. Absolutely! There is no better time than now to learn exactly how to get this right from the start. With no bad habits to let go of, you’ll have the formula to work on and implement for great results.

Q. Will I see a return on my investment? 📈
A. That's my intention! Think about how many extra deals your team need to close for you to see higher revenue and more commission in your pocket? Changing just one person’s outlook and performance will add $$ to your targets, and confidence on your team will breed confidence in others.

Q. Do I need to complete the course straight away? ⏳
A. Not at all. Devour it all in one go or at your leisure. With 12 months access, the choice is yours. Feel safe in the knowledge that you'll have this handy resource to refer back to as you build your skillset during the year ahead!

➡️ Sales Management is arguably one of the most important roles in any business because without sales, there is no business. 😊

When you’re promoted and entrusted to lead a team in any organisation, this position ultimately comes with great responsibility; responsibility, that can become a huge task to manage.

And so the C.A.L.M. framework was created to serve as a support structure and guide to help you manage your team and responsibilities successfully, and navigate any difficult situations that may arise.

After many years of managing and leading teams, I came to the realisation that although there are multiple areas of a leaders role that contribute to the overall success of the team, there are 4 in particular, that if you get these right, form the foundation and framework for everything else to build upon. 📈

We’re talking about:
- Communication
- Accountability
- Leadership
- Motivation

What I learned through experience was that if one of these areas was lacking, the team results would be reflective of this.

I like to think of these four areas as the glue that holds everything together. You get this right, and maintain a healthy balance across all 4 areas, and everything else will fall into place.

Joining me in the Sales Management Masterclass online course will teach you exactly how to get the balance right and help you on your way to becoming an incredible leader for your team.

I always find January to be a great month for planning, setting some exciting goals and also choosing a word for the year to help guide me and stay on track.

This year, I chose 'Now'!

It's simple, clear and quickly jolts me back to where I need to be and keeps my focus on taking action NOW, rather than later.

If you don't have one, I highly recommend giving it a try this year!

All you have to do is take some time to yourself and think about what success looks like in both your professional and personal life, brainstorm some words writing out whatever flows into your mind and as soon as you feel drawn to one in particular, you've found your word!

And try it with your teams too.

It's a great session to run to get everyone thinking about what success looks like to them.

Once they settle on a word you can feed this into your coaching and support to ensure both theirs, and your actions, are contributing to achieving that all important goal.

Give it a try today and let me know in the comments what your word is for this year! ⬇️

Relationship building will always be a key strength for those in sales and there is no better way to do this than by picking up the phone and talking to your customers.

Over the last decade, to meet the growing expectations of clients, many businesses and have chosen to switch to alternative channels of communication (email, chat, bots, etc.) But even if these new channels seem more effective, the phone still remains one of the strongest ways to build connection and rapport to win and retain business.

And here are a few reasons why:

✅Unlike email, the phone and equally video calls enable us to be more authentic and empathetic. A lot of information passes through the voice and you can really begin to understand how your customer feels by their tone, inflections and even facial expressions.

✅Each time you speak to your customers, you have an opportunity to better understand how they feel about using your product or service. By calling and taking their temperature, so to speak, you can learn so much more than the written word can.

✅A call to your customer is also an opportunity to find out their current pain point and present new opportunities to solve these pains in a conversational, relaxed way. A sales pitch really is much more convincing over the phone than by email.

Take one action today and instead of sending that email, pick up the phone and connect with a handful of customers and/or prospects and see what a difference it makes 😊

Happy New Year everyone! For some, today will be the first day back to ‘normal’ whatever that may look like for you now, and this is just a little reminder that you are in control of how you start your week, your month and your year ahead so take your time and ease in gently. Be present with your teams and listen to their news, hear their intentions for 2021 and be a part of that story to help them reach their goals. Wishing you a successful, happy and healthy new year 😊 📷 #2021

Have you checked in with your customers lately? 🤔 And by check in I don’t mean call or email trying to sell your products or services. I mean REALLY checked in to see how they are; how business is going; and what they are hoping to achieve in the next 12 months.

When there’s a target on your head the natural reaction is to ensure you’re doing everything you can to hit it by focusing on the sales activity and number output but remember, checking in and building relationships is just as important.

You may not be asking directly for a sale on these calls but you are finding out what your customer’s problems are to be able to offer a solution that helps and as a result, build trust.

💡 Switch things up and take a different approach today. 💡

Ask your team to focus on your customer needs rather than the sale today and see what the result is at the end of the day. Making this a regular behaviour will help not only your team evolve their skillset and practice their listening skills, but take your relationship to the next level and nurture those relationships for the future.
