What is the first constraint in 99% of businesses?

SALES. Why?

What happens when you do manage to get someone into your calendar to have a sales conversation if you don’t know sales and can’t close the deal anyways??

Wouldn’t that mean you’ve just spent hours, days, weeks and probably even hundreds to thousands of dollars to NOT close a deal???

In turn, wouldn’t that really mean sales is the first constraint? (and wouldn’t that make not knowing how to sell, maybe the closest thing to setting your time, effort and money on fire).

I’d personally rather be equipped with the skill of sales so that even if I bump into someone at my local gym that I could help, I’ll know exactly how to close the deal and help that person out.

Quality of conversations > quantity of conversations. (especially if your product or service is typically thousands of $$, I’d rather sell 1/5 conversations than 0/50).
Now you might be thinking “how do I get a lead in the first place?”…🤨

Alex Hormozi actually covers this in his books and his content and so have many of my mentors. Here’s the secret to getting leads without content or marketing:

👉 You have a phone full with leads (check all your followers on all social media platforms, the contacts list, your emails, friends, family, friends of family, friends of family’s friends and so on….
👉 Friends of friends on social media accounts, people who follow your favourite social media accounts
👉 At your local gym, pub, restaurants, yoga class, networking events, conventions, concerts, gatherings

Life coaches!

Many who are new to business think that they need to post more content, improve their "branding" and "marketing"...

When in reality, marketing is NOT the first constraint in your business that's preventing you from achieving your goals.

It's at least 99% of the time: SALES.

Why?

Because you can find people in your own home town, friendship circles, networking events and groups, Facebook groups, local supermarket, your gym (the list is unlimited) that will be interested in your life coaching service for free WITHOUT posting content or marketing.

Even when someone lands in your calendar, if you don't have the skills to close the deal and help them out... then you've just wasted days, weeks of your personal effort and time (and maybe even your hard earned money).
