Often when I work with clients and they start to realise that the fundamental trigger in their life is, 'I'm not good enough because I'm not loveable and valuable', they start to see the impact this has on them, not just in their personal lives, but in their businesses.
If you think about it, as a business owner running a leadership team, when you get triggered or impacted by the 'Not Good Enough', so do your team and your customers.
And remember, the 'Not Good Enough' is because somewhere in this moment, I don't feel valued. I don't feel loved. It's not true. It's just an old subconscious pattern.
When you get triggered as a leader, you'll go into your defensive patterns, whatever they may be. That can either be the aggressor... we've all worked with leaders who essentially are like the schoolyard bully. Or you might become more passive aggressive.
All of this is affecting the team dynamic, the emotional dynamic, and it also affects the ability to get things done, to deliver customer service.
If you want to increase your profitability, increase your efficiency, and improve your culture then really take responsibility for the 'Not Good Enough'. And that's what I do when I work with clients. When we see it, we can change it.
