CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR - Sydney CBD

Our client is seeking an individual who loves to achieve goals and wants to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you enjoy getting out and about and meeting new people, then we invite you to apply for this exciting customer service position.
Located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, you will be working with a small team of dedicated individuals who love to ensure orders are delivered to clients on time and to expectation. This business has been trading for over 20 years and is a leader in its field, which is testament to its ability to evolve by embracing new and innovative ways of working.

Essential Requirements:
Physically fit and able to lift at least 15kg
High level of communication (both written and verbal)
Clean driver’s licence and your own vehicle
Strong attention to detail
Desire to build excellent relationships with clients, suppliers, and your colleagues
Computer literate

Desired Qualities:
Good knowledge of Work Health & Safety
Ability to drive a manual vehicle if needed
Local knowledge of Sydney metro areas (and basic understanding of other Australian states)

Position title: Full Time Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Darlinghurst Sydney
Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00pm

Purpose of role:
Your role is to keep our customers happy by coordinating the domestic delivery management of their orders.

Responsible for the day-to-day liaison between suppliers, forwarders, and clients. This is more than a logistics role; this is a role that requires good communication to all internal and external stakeholders via phone and email.

You will have shown in previous roles that you are customer centric and are not afraid to have conversations that are difficult at times. You will have the opportunity to work with an established business, in an office environment with a small and friendly team.

On occasion you will need to receive, repack and distribute samples, so a Driver’s License is essential.

Must haves:
• Exceptional communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to take responsibility for your actions
• Problem-solving skills
• Administration skills
• Driver’s License
• An understanding of Google Workspace
• Quick learner as you’ll need to hit the ground running
• A “can-do” attitude

Our health is important to our wellbeing. The bandages or plaster or a moon boot will inform those about us that we have damaged that specific part of our body.

Mental health does not have a representation of a bandage to show others that you or I are suffering.

This simple question of “R U OK” should be applied daily with a G’day or hello. We should wait for the response and then listen to what the person replies with.

If you are not OK, seek assistance, you are worthy of a conversation.
