The artwork celebrates Indigenous culture, creativity and connection, reflecting the relationships between people, community and the land.

In the video, Storm shares the inspiration behind the mural, the meaning within the artwork, and her reflections on truth and reconciliation.

This month, our sites and offices came together to support R U OK? Day, a reminder that a simple conversation can make a meaningful difference. 💛

From breakfasts, morning teas and awareness activities to wellbeing resources and conversations guided by the R U OK? framework, our people embraced the opportunity to connect and check in with one another.

At the 2026 BHP Women in Resources National Awards, we celebrated the achievements of our two finalists from our Evolution Mining Northparkes Operations, as well as other finalists and winners.

Our FlexCrew Program team of Natalie Kelly, Carling Henderson, Lauren Spicer and Lisa Ellsmore, together with team coordinator, Eliza Jagusiak was a finalist in the Excellence in Company Programs and Performance Award category.

The team, and our Northparkes Operations, was acknowledged by Minerals Council of Australia CEO, Tania Constable, who spoke about what the team had shared with her earlier in the day (see video below). They'd reflected on how flexibility had enabled them to have a real balance between work and family commitments, enabling them to be truly present at both work and at home, making it a positive and enriching experience.

Well done to all winners and finalists on proudly driving positive change for inclusion and diversity in the resources sector.
