We proudly celebrated First Nations Cultures and Unity in Australia today by hosting a Naidoc Week event in Hawthorn with our employees to share stories on our elders and celebrating the significance they have in our lives. We supported a indigenous owned food business on a misssion to make native ingredients the hero of the Australian kitchen. Simply delicious and highly recommended to get a real taste of the indigenous culture and community.

🌍 NAIDOC Week is a unique opportunity for all Australians to deepen their understanding of First Nations cultures and histories, as we pay tribute to the oldest, continuous living cultures on Earth. 🌿

💫 Let's come together to learn, engage, and embrace the rich diversity that makes up our nation. Through cultural performances, art exhibitions, music and dance showcases, and captivating storytelling sessions, we can honor and respect the traditions and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

ARA Indigenous Services and ARA Property Services proudly sponsored FMA's 'Exploring Net Zero' Summit held in Melbourne on Wednesday, 8 June.

The discussion was led by a diverse range of expert speakers from industry leading organisations such as Electric Vehicle Council, A G Coombs, BGIS and NABERS with presentations that highlighted the latest advancements in green building practices, energy-efficient technologies, renewable energy integration, and resource optimisation.

"Today we gained valuable insight into strategies that will support our business in achieving Net Zero targets and how we can better support our clients in Facility Management achieve their targets" said Cassandra Donovan, General Manager- Business Development. "Every step we take towards sustainability helps, and we are happy to be part of the conversation."

We proudly hosted a couch session at ARA for National Reconciliation Week with our very own legend and Managing Director, Michael O'Loughlin.
A proud Narungga, Ngarrindjeri and Kaurna man from South Australia and former champion AFL player who gladly shared his history, culture and the great achievements that have inspired him to continue to "Be a Voice for Generations', and to share his journey and express the importance of how each of us can contribute daily to achieve reconciliation in Australia.

Exciting News! Meet Annette Leedie, a resilient and proud Wakka Wakka woman from South East Queensland! Returning to Brisbane in late 2022, Annette and her partner faced challenges in finding work and housing. Luckily she connected with us and found consistent employment as a cleaner on one of our client sites. We're also helping them to find housing. Annette and her partner are thriving in their roles, and with ARA winning more contracts, we're creating opportunities for others too! Join us in celebrating their journey.

We proudly sponsored the annual FMA NSW Corporate Golf day, which was held on Dharawal Country at the St Michael's Golf Club.
This day was a very successful one, with our two ARA Indigenous Services team members from our Wiimalli Program - ARA Fire, Matt Pannell, and ARA Mechanical & Enviromental Automation - Ty Southwood, enjoying the day with two ARA Indigenous Services stakeholders from Coca Cola and Spotless. The team finished 3rd overall, 3 shots from first place. We are extremely proud of the ARA Team, and even more proud of our Wiimali members who attended the day representing ARA Indigenous Services and the local communities.

So proud to have been part of the National Summit in Digital Transformation in FM, held in Sydney. At ARA we know the importance of being proactive and finding better ways on how we can add value to the FM Industry. The day was a huge success with many Facilities Managers attending. The key focus was on Cyber Security, Maintenance technology to reduce OH&S risks, and emerging technologies in the FM space.
