So today I went to my local bmx track and had a plan to jump a few jumps I have not done in over 7 months this is for all parents out in bmx land and riders to take into consideration I have done these jumps a thousand times before but not done them for a few months as I’m not racing I didnt feel the need so I didn’t , so my confidence fell away as
Like anything if you don’t constantly work on your skills / confidence it will fall away just like fitness … so now anytime
Your child has any kind of injury or time away from the sport please consider this I have been doing this a very long time at a fairly high level and it was confronting for me so a “new skill” would be hugely confronting for a rider in a rate of improvement just remember it’s not as easy as everyone makes it look ….
