We need more trees and plants… 🌱

Garlic Naan:

For the Flatbread Dough:

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon instant yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt

For the Garlic Spread:

1/2 cup vegan butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes until frothy. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.

Make a well in the center, pour in the yeast mixture, and add olive oil. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise for 1-2 hours.

Garlic Infusion:
Meanwhile, prepare the garlic spread. In a small bowl, mix softened vegan butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Division:
Once the dough has risen, divide it into equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten into a round disc, creating the flatbreads.

Cook:
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place each flatbread on the hot surface and cook until golden brown on both sides, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.

Garlic Inclusion:
As the flatbreads cook, generously spread the prepared garlic mixture on one side, allowing the warmth to enhance the aromatic

Serve:
Once the flatbreads are cooked to perfection, serve them warm. Optionally, sprinkle additional chopped parsley for a fresh burst of color and flavor.
