Raland is continuing its contribution to the early learning sector, with plans to deliver three new purpose-built childcare centres across the Hunter Region.

With two centres currently progressing through the development approval process and a third in planning, the projects will deliver approximately 300 new childcare places across the region.

Drawing inspiration from the Hunter’s rural character, our proposed childcare centre has been thoughtfully designed with a series of contemporary gable roof forms that reflect the traditional barns, homesteads and pitched-roof buildings commonly seen throughout the region.

The building’s facade features James Hardie vertical cladding, selected for its timeless appearance, durability and low-maintenance performance, complemented by warm timber accents and a dark Colorbond roof. Together, these materials create a modern interpretation of the Hunter vernacular while ensuring the centre sits comfortably within its surrounding landscape.

Spanning over 2,700 square metres, this purpose-built facility will provide 100 childcare places, five indoor learning rooms and two expansive outdoor play areas.

Great childcare centres should not only serve families but also reflect and enhance the communities they become part of.

Raland is proud to introduce one of our latest proposed childcare centres in the Hunter Region.

Last year, Raland successfully secured development approval for a 110-place childcare centre in Western Sydney through the Land and Environment Court of NSW.

We have since commenced the Construction Certificate (CC) phase and are progressing the project toward commencement in due course, in collaboration with our good friends and long-term childcare operators

Over the past five years, our commitment to the childcare sector has continued to grow.

We’ve had the privilege of delivering quality early learning environments across NSW. Managing projects from site acquisition and planning approvals through to construction and delivery. Our focus has always been on creating functional, compliant centres designed to support children, families and the communities they serve.
