Last year, Raland successfully secured development approval for a 110-place childcare centre in Western Sydney through the Land and Environment Court of NSW.

We have since commenced the Construction Certificate (CC) phase and are progressing the project toward commencement in due course, in collaboration with our good friends and long-term childcare operators

A strong milestone for the project and another step forward in delivering quality early learning infrastructure across Western Sydney.

We’ve had the privilege of delivering quality early learning environments across NSW. Managing projects from site acquisition and planning approvals through to construction and delivery. Our focus has always been on creating functional, compliant centres designed to support children, families and the communities they serve.

Over the last five years, we’ve proudly secured over 15 childcare centre development approvals and successfully completed the construction of multiple centres across New South Wales. Each project has been purposely delivered to meet the needs of growing communities and support Australia’s future generations.

Our project featured in The Daily Telegraph last year for its approach to addressing the childcare shortage in Shoalhaven, has received formal approval.

Raland is pleased to share that the NSW Land & Environment Court has upheld our appeal and granted development consent for our Nowra CBD childcare development. A mixed-use project comprising a 101-place childcare centre, café and at-grade parking across consolidated lots.

Originally submitted as a 116-place centre, the proposal was refined and reduced to 101 places during the Section 34 conciliation process to address Council’s concerns and deliver a well-balanced outcome.

Throughout the process, we worked collaboratively with Shoalhaven City Council and their legal representatives revising plans, updating supporting documentation and demonstrating full compliance with applicable planning controls.

The Court ultimately accepted the agreed resolution, confirming that the amended proposal satisfies all statutory and planning requirements.

Throwback to one of our standout low-rise housing projects in Sydney’s inner west.

Located on a prominent corner block just 13km from Sydney’s CBD, this development comprises of three distinct buildings delivering a total of 12 well-designed terraces cleverly arranged so that 75% enjoy direct street frontage.

Each terrace spans three levels, with some featuring attic-style roofs. The architecture showcases a dynamic blend of brick, render, glazing, and colorbond finishes.
