Seven Communications was proud to support in hosting two exclusive media events in Melbourne and Sydney with founder Wendy Wu.

Wendy shared insights on how evolving traveller preferences are reshaping the touring industry and announced the launch of China Uncovered - a brand-new 20-day itinerary exploring Chongqing, Zhangjiajie, Shanghai and Guilin.

Guests also heard about Japan’s continued popularity with Australian travellers and the growing demand for Cruise & Tour holidays, blending ocean cruising with immersive land experiences.

A fantastic opportunity for media to connect directly with Wendy and hear her perspective on the future of touring.

Eftsure recently hosted On The Defence Live, bringing together finance and cybersecurity leaders to explore the real-world risks of financially motivated cybercrime.

Held at 12-Micron, the session featured cybersecurity expert Bastien Treptel and Eftsure CEO Soldan. They highlighted the crucial role finance teams play on the frontlines of fraud and shared insights on what it takes to stay ahead.

Bastien’s unique story - having infiltrated one of Australia’s largest banks at 16 before building and selling his own cybersecurity company - offered a rare perspective from both sides of the digital battlefield, sparking discussion on risk, resilience, and awareness.

It was fantastic to attend an event on such an important discussion.

Credibility is the pressure point in sustainability communication, and COP30 makes it impossible to ignore.

Brands are announcing climate commitments in real time, but the conversation has shifted. It’s no longer “environment versus growth.” The question is whether organisations can clearly explain the reasoning behind their decisions. Claims without evidence won’t hold up, and messaging that risks greenwashing will be called out.

This is a strategic PR moment - trust now depends on clarity, transparency, and making decisions understandable. It’s not about polished statements, it’s about showing the evidence behind actions and linking initiatives to outcomes that matter beyond profit.

If your organisation wants to communicate sustainability with integrity, we help leaders articulate decisions in ways people can understand and trust.

This month, our team at Seven Communications is taking part in Movember.

We’re moving 500km as a team to support awareness and fundraising for men’s health - with a focus on mental health and su***de prevention.

Conversations around men’s wellbeing often happen too late. This is a small, practical way for us to contribute, stay visible and encourage those conversations to happen sooner.

If you’d like to follow along, support, or get involved, you can.

Let’s get moving and talk about men’s health.

This week, we supported in launching The Journey Ahead - the company’s first annual report exploring how Australians are planning and experiencing travel in 2026 and beyond.

To celebrate the launch, a media event was held at Saké Sydney, featuring insights from Simon Bell, Managing Director of Wendy Wu Tours Australia, and Sonia Orrego, Head of Product.

The report reveals an exciting shift in the way Australians are travelling, where experiences are taking centre stage over checklists.

- Solo travel is on the rise, with more Aussies seeking freedom, personal growth and genuine cultural immersion.

- Japan remains a timeless favourite, from cherry blossoms and autumn colours to tranquil temples and vibrant cities.

- Over-55s are redefining the way we holiday, choosing small-group tours, longer stays and meaningful off-peak escapes.

A clear sign that traveller priorities are shifting and reshaping the industry in the year ahead.
