🔥 This is exactly why we remove jetter units from the vehicle for servicing.

This wiring damage wasn’t visible during normal use. It was only discovered once we removed the unit from the vehicle for a proper service and inspection.

The wiring had been incorrectly installed and had overheated badly enough to melt the insulation and expose the copper.

This could have easily caused a fire, and the customer could have lost the whole vehicle.

At Jetters HQ, we remove units from the vehicle so we can inspect the areas that often can’t be properly seen while everything is still mounted in place.

A proper service is about more than just changing oils and checking the basics — it’s about finding the issues you can’t see before they turn into something serious.

From ute setup to a clean van install 💪

This jetter came to us mounted on a ute and the customer wanted the whole setup transferred into their van.

We:

* Removed the jetter from the ute
* Installed 2 brand-new hose reels
* Fabricated a custom stainless-steel spill tray
* Gave the jetter a full service
* Installed and secured the complete setup into the van

It’s one of the most overlooked parts of a jetter, yet it’s responsible for carrying the entire weight of your machine, fuel tank, water tank, hose reels, and accessories.

Now add years of vibration, potholes, speed bumps, and Sydney’s roads… it’s no surprise we regularly find cracked and fatigued frames.

BEFORE ➡️ AFTER

This unit came into the workshop with a water leak around the pump. We removed and replaced the faulty fittings, carried out a full service, and gave the machine the complete Jetters HQ treatment with a thorough clean and inspection.

Now it’s leak-free, serviced, cleaned up, and ready to get back to work.

This customer’s jetter came in underperforming and with an oil leak. We removed the unit, replaced the pump valves, fitted a new gearbox oil seal, and carried out the necessary repairs to get it operating correctly again.

While it was in the workshop, we upgraded the installation with a new Mini Double Stack reel system, allowing for a neat and compact setup utilising 60m of 5/16” jetting hose and 20m of low-pressure hose.

The installation was also reconfigured to maximise usable canopy space, resulting in a cleaner layout, improved accessibility, and a more practical setup for everyday use.

🔧 That’s a wrap for another week at Jetters HQ.

We finished off the week with a concrete boom truck upgrade, fitting a new retractable washdown hose reel to keep the boom clean, hoses protected and washdowns quick and easy on site. 💦🚛

A great way to head into the King’s Birthday long weekend.

Have a safe and enjoyable weekend everyone, and we’ll be back Tuesday ready to do it all again. 👊
