We have multiple requirements for Network Engineers across Data, Voice, Communications, Wireless and Security to be based on Garden Island Naval Base, Sydney.
The role will be a mixture of BAU/Operations as well as project work involving network deployments and upgrades with design capability if applicable (desirable).
These are 12+ month contracts and will be ongoing for the the next 5+ years. Rates on offer are between $600-800 per day. Candidates are required to be have either an NV2 or NV1 which will be sponsored to NV2.
Core Skills – must have
• Investigate complex technical problems at enterprise level;
• Background in Level 2 and Level 3 network operations;
• Infrastructure experience in Voice - CISCO Voip, Security - Firewalls, VRF's and Wireless CAPWAP, Cisco WLC
• Automation infrastructure APIs, Ansible;
• Produce system design and configuration documentation;
• Deploy and support network technology in a large and complex environment;
• Highly developed knowledge in Cisco routing, Dell Force 10 switching technologies, Juniper, WAN Optimisation, Proxy technology such as Bluecoat;
Skills – NICE TO have
• Citrix and /or VMware virtualisation technologies.
• Design complex network systems within the maritime or similar environment.;
