Rich notes of red plum, blackberry, dark chocolate and spice reflect the wisdom of 70-year-old Riverland vines, patiently nurtured and matured for 27 months in 95% seasoned French oak and 5% seasoned American oak. A wine to savour now, or cellar for years to come.

To celebrate World Chardonnay Day, we’re shining a light on one of the world’s most versatile grape varieties.

Originally from Burgundy, France, Chardonnay is loved for its ability to take on many different expressions, from crisp and refreshing to rich and buttery.
At Witches Falls, Chardonnay holds a special place in our hearts. It was the first white variety we produced back in 2003 and later became the pioneering varietal in our Wild Ferment Collection.

Today, we proudly produce two distinct expressions.
Our Wild Ferment Chardonnay is naturally fermented with wild yeast and matured in French oak, resulting in a soft, golden wine with creamy complexity and a delicate balance.
Our Witches Falls Provenance Chardonnay is aged in stainless steel to preserve freshness, bright citrus notes, and fruit-driven character, resulting in a crisp, easy-drinking style.
