A Queensland cattle station has been handed the first ever Environment Protection Order under the Albanese Government’s new environment laws.

No finding. No court. The investigation isn’t even finished.

But the Minister couldn’t wait. He was straight onto Facebook with a celebratory “BREAKING” post.

Shut you down first. Ask questions later. That’s the new rulebook for farmers.

And this station was already in the firing line. Activists had defaced its front gates with “koala killer”. A bulldozer was allegedly set on fire.

It’s part of a bigger push. In August, activist groups ran ads in South Korea, one of our biggest beef markets, telling buyers Aussie beef is killing the Great Barrier Reef. Two weeks later, two official reports showed improving water quality and rebounding coral cover.

Activists make the noise. Government brings the hammer. Farmers pay the price.

They started with sheep. Now it’s cattle stations. Your farm could be next.

Stand with farming families.

Five generations. 180 years on the same land.

And the Victorian Government just fined them for protecting their own land.

This family refused to let authorities onto their farm to size it up for a transmission line that would gut their property’s value. So the government sent them a fine.

They’re not alone. Twelve Victorian farmers have now been hit with fines of around $800 for refusing access. Even neighbours standing with them have been warned they could cop one too.

Laws passed last year let government officers, backed by police, walk onto private farmland for these projects. Whether farmers like it or not.

Read that again. You can be fined for refusing entry to your own land.

This is what happens when decisions are made by politicians who’ve never had to make a living off the land.

Today it’s transmission lines in Victoria. Tomorrow it could be your farm.

Share this so every farming family knows what’s coming under a Government that doesn’t care about rural Australia.
