Merren is a Civil Celebrant based in Tasmania. Majestic ceremonies are filled to the brim with love,

Cinta (pronounced chin-ta) is an Indonesian and Malaysian word meaning 'love'. Celebrating love is the greatest gift people can give to each other - it fills our hearts with warmth and compassion, and removes negativity from our lives. Merren is inspired to design and facilitate beautiful ceremonies that reflect the love people share for each other… it is her honour to be doing this work.

A big warm hello, it’s Merren here 🖤
So many lovely new couples + families I’m working with at the moment so here’s a tiny re-introduction….
What are your favourite qualities about yourself?
My open heart + my capacity to love + my clear intuition.
What is your least favourite quality?
I become easily overwhelmed in large social groups when I don’t have a ‘role’.
Where do you get fresh inspiration from?
Nature… in particular wide open spaces + vistas of ocean + sky. Also people… those who are authentic from the inside, who exude a natural glow + positiveness.
What is your family life like?
My children are capable young adults, I share a wonderful soulful connection with my husband, I cherish my elderly parents, our red heeler loves snuggles only from me (hehe!), our family home is a true haven…. And I have a 2nd family from the islands of Papua New Guinea.
What brings you joy?
Family… cooking nutritious food… swimming in sparkling sea… yoga… dancing… early mornings + early evenings… creating + witnessing + celebrating the magical power of love.

Cheri + Daniel 🤍 holidayed + celebrated love on Tasmania’s stunning east coast with their beautiful children Ari + Kai 🤍 their fun playful + wholesome energy drew me in from the beginning 🤍 their family love is endless + bountiful 🤍 we treated Cheri to a quiet gentle cleansing of dried sage + lavender just before ceremony… together we created a moment of divine feminine energy in honour of her + her family 🤍 creating magical moments is something I deeply love 🤍

Madison + Kaitlin ⭐️ an intimate sunrise ceremony on the edge of Great Oyster Bay in a secluded little nook of the Freycinet peninsula ⭐️ we started with an early morning walk to the most majestic ceremony location, changed into our wedding attire + celebrated love as the first sun rays shone so much beauty upon us ⭐️
Little unexpected touches… Merren giving Kaitlin her precious sapphire wedding ring to wear as ‘something borrowed’ + watching a huge pod of whales feeding + brushing off pesky mozzies + assisting the lift into the granite cave ⭐️ adventures, laughter, connections, all from the purest place within our hearts ⭐️
💫 Madison and I are lost for words! Merren you are beautiful and kind person, you bring a positive vibe to everything!
It feels like we have known you forever!
From the moment we spoke on the phone, you made us feel so relaxed and your knowledge and bubbly nature made our elopement including the whole planning process so easy!
