Day one with a new client. And they already said something that stuck with me.
"If we have been running with things falling through the cracks, can you imagine what we can do now you are getting us organised. The future is bright."
One day. That is all it took for the penny to drop.
Not because I had fixed everything. But because someone was finally in the business looking at it clearly, building structure around the chaos, and helping them see what was actually possible.
Most founders I speak to have been running in survival mode for so long they have forgotten what it feels like to have a business that runs rather than one they have to constantly hold together.
The cracks are not a personality flaw. They are an operational gap. And that gap is closeable.
