Great day today for purchases!

In Brisbane 2yo c**t The Machine Gun scored a tough win in the Listed Tattersalls Stakes for Snowden Racing.

This c**t by Newgate Farm based Stay Inside was bred by Jason Dallas Stenning and Melanie Pitts Stenning at Blue Gum Farm . Full credit to them for not only breeding a promising c**t but believing in him enough to buy out other partners to race him. They have poured millions into this sport and deserve this kind of success!

Elsewhere, Brevitas (100K Premier purchase) ran a gallant and unlucky 2nd in the Listed Oaklands Plate. This 2yo filly by Doubtland is a tenacious type and can hopefully breakthrough for a stakes win soon for Stokes Racing.

In Sydney Ready to Shine (75K Magic Millions National purchase) toughed it out for a solid win for Matthew Smith Racing and our close friend Matthew Zammit.

Also in Sydney, Swiftie Harriet (120K Adelaide Magic Millions) was narrowly defeated. This Travis Doudle Racing trained daughter of Exceedance is very genuine and deserves a city win soon!

Delighted to work with Jason Dallas Stenning and Colum Mc Cullagh to purchase some beautiful mares on behalf of Blue Gum Farm from the Inglis June Online Sale.

La Mexicana is a gorgeous Group 3 winning daughter of I am Invincible purchased in foal to the leading young stallion Too Darn Hot.

Karavali is a beautiful Group 3 winning mare who has already left a stakes placegetter. Her King’s Gambit c**t was one of the star offerings at the recent Inglis Sydney Weanling Sale and she is again in foal to this stallion.

Petula is a stakes winning daughter of the very consistent stallion Nicconi, she had good racetrack ability and we hope she can produce nice types like herself.

The acquisition yesterday of La Mexicana for 920K was the largest individual mare purchase to date by Jason and Melanie Pitts Stenning .

The Stenning’s have made an enormous contribution to the industry and will soon announce some very exciting news regarding Blue Gum Farm!

We feel very fortunate to be part of this great team 🙂

Miss Freelove wins the Listed Denise’s Joy Stakes at Scone for and

The 3yo daughter of Tassort bred by was a 110K purchase in partnership with at the Adelaide Yearling Sale from the draft.

This is a very significant win for me personally as it is the first stakes winner purchased with Trilogy who have been hugely supportive of me and are wonderful partners.

The fact friends , Rob Chapman and are also in the ownership make this a very special result! ❤️
