I was an Interior Designer by trade before moving into computers and a self taught baker and cake decorator. The name "Just call me Martha" originated as a bit of tongue in cheek humour since I bake, sew, craft and paint (like my idol Martha Stewart). Since then the name has stuck ;-)

I found my passion for cake decorating by sheer accident when I couldn't find anyo

ne to make fondant animals for my youngest daughter's farm themed cake. I decided to give the figurines a go and to my (and everyone else's surprise) they turned out quite well. The rest as they say is history :-)

I specialise in custom cakes, anything from birthdays, Christenings to weddings. I create cakes, cupcakes, pops, cookies and other sweet treats.

Sometimes painting on a canvas just isn't enough. One of my favourite art forms is translating art onto cake. It's tricky and a little nerve wracking as you don't have much wiggle room for mistakes, but the result is worth it.
