Elections bring talented people out of the woodwork and here we can see the great work of one of South West Coast’s budding artists.

The Victorian Liberals recognise the importance of the arts which is why we will fund $50 million to boost music programs at Victorian state primary schools. This will include;

🎵Development of a Victorian primary school music curriculum that focuses on the sequential and continuous development of music skills;

🎶Provision of high-quality sample lesson plans for primary school music teachers;

🎵Development in partnership with universities for primary school music education courses to allow for a pipeline of future teachers;

🎶Funding of musical instruments for schools;
Scholarships for future talented musicians.

Might be too early to start saying Merry Christmas but I enjoyed joining my agricultural industry friends Maureen and Bruce Membrey, along with Alan McDowell for Christmas drinks this evening.

With summer crops to be sown and lambs to crutch, plus an election to win, it was good to catch up and talk all things South West Coast.

Victorian Liberal Plan For Fishers:

Recreational fishing is a popular past time in South West Coast for both locals and tourists. The Victorian Liberals have real solutions to support it, including;

🐟 Ensure that 100% of license fees are dedicated to improving facilities, maintaining fish stocks and protecting river ecology.
🐟 Establish a $30 million Fish and Platypus Habitat Restoration Fund to protect our river ecology.
🐟 Establish a $5 million boat ramp fund to provide grants for local councils to maintain boat ramps.
🐟 Deliver $1 million for monitoring of fish restocking to determine the effectiveness.

In addition, an elected Victorian Liberal Government will provide $8 million to upgrade the Warrnambool Breakwater, making it safe for all users.

The bulldozer’s been busy and we have a huge pile of sandstone ready for action!!

The boys are busy preparing Lime for autumn spreading in crop and pasture paddocks and Lime Sandstone mixes for the best cattle tracks and stockyard bases.

With the weather too wet for Lime production, the boys are focusing on having plenty of Sandstone ready to repair cattle tracks after the rain.
