It's that time again, and for the 2nd last time for 2026 we are calling for photos for our 2027 calendar.

The theme for November is Our Glorious Sky.

So the photos can be of anything found in our skies, as long as they're taken within our coverage area.
Think clouds, stars, the sun, the moon, rainbows, or even birds flying.... if it's in, or to do with the sky, and in our region its perfect.

Entries are open now and close at 5pm on WEDNESDAY 9th September.

You can send your photos via messenger, text to Heidi, or email to [email protected] or [email protected]

Additional niche wall capacity will soon be available at the Texas Cemetery, with Goondiwindi Regional Council currently installing a new columbarium with fifty niches to meet future community needs. The $30,000 project sees the construction and installation of the new niche wall adjacent to the existing columbarium, providing additional interment capacity for the community.

In what we can recall as one of the closest, if not the closest, voting periods since we started the calendars, the winner of our Feathered Friends October 2027 page is this cute little Wren, submitted by Dianne Rossiter.
You've been an incredible supporter of the calendar competition, having submitted many photos over the years that we've been doing this Di, so congratulations!

We will reveal our final monthly theme next week, and then December will be YOUR CHOICE.... Maximum of 3 images per photographer, so start thinking about that one... but don't forget to check back here next week for November's theme.
