Life is full of sliding doors… and this little moment yesterday on the beach at Avoca, is the perfect example.

I’ve spent a large part of my life bringing people together for purpose, and I met this lovely couple a few years ago when they signed up to participate in one of my work events. Their love of adventure is strong… and so is mine!

Congratulations Ian and Kym! It was an absolute honour to officially bring the two of you together in marital bliss! Thank you for choosing me to be your celebrant. I wish you both, all the happiness in the world. 💍💕

This is weird, real, and lovely. "With this uke, I thee wed". They exchanged ukuleles for their marriage vows. Chris and Vanessa like to call the Ukestra the best dating app for the over 45s. 

It's all so humbling, privileged, and triumphant at the same time. In not sure I can process those emotions at the same time.

Recently I had the honour of emceeing my Mum, Diana’s 80th birthday celebrations at Ocean Club Resort in Lake Cathie.

It also happened to be my parents’ - Dennis & Diana’s 60th year of marriage and to acknowledge this milestone, my daughter Renee and I facilitated a little trip down memory lane for them and our family and about 70 of their closest friends!

Renee is also a celebrant so it was quite a special moment for us both to be able to come together in this way, and share their wonderful story. Their zest for life and enduring love is an inspiration to all of us. 💕
