A Night of Achievements: Taking Home the Prize for Excellence in Small Business



Our team had a night of great achievements at the 2023 Coastline Credit Union Greater Port Macquarie Business Awards Gala Dinner over the weekend. We were finalists in three categories and were thrilled to win the Excellence in Small Business category. This recognition affirms our hard work and vision for our business.



On behalf of the whole team at Thrumster Business Park, Trevor Groeneveld expressed gratitude for the accolade and complimented the quality of businesses in Port Macquarie and its surrounds. He also gave special thanks to Katherine Harris, Alex Glen-Holmes, the team, and the sponsors for making the evening a fantastic celebration of excellence.

The gala dinner is underway, with hundreds of people attending the event at Panthers.

Subdivision Works Certificate for Stage 1 of the Thrumster Business Park - Stormwater, Roads & Landscaping has been granted.

Exciting news for the team at Thrumster Business Park. Our road names have been approved by Port Macquarie Hastings Council.

The logic behind the street names is consistent with the vision for the estate being an employment hub of excellence for Thrumster and the wider Port Macquarie area. The street names reflect the vision and values of the businesses we would encourage to be a part of the estate.

It was our absolute pleasure to present the vision for Thrumster Business Park, as a guest of Business Port Macquarie, to a packed house at Rydges on the evening of Tuesday 27th September.

Trevor Groeneveld presented the vision for the park covering Past, Present, and Future plans for the site. Some of the key concepts for Thrumster Business Park included creative use of previously unusable land, Connective pathways, and Cycleways, the Creation of an Employment Zone, as well as Multi-use opportunities, all of which were of great interest to the attendees.

Our thanks go to Alex Glen-Holmes, the Board of Business Port Macquarie, as well as the team at Rydges for making the event such a success.

The town is buzzing at the moment with the exciting launch on Friday of the Art Walk. This is just a perfect example of how Port Macquarie and the wider area is evolving.

If you are visiting the area and coming off the main Highway you will be passing the Thrumster Business Park as you drive into Port. The perfect location for a commercial operation almost in the middle of Sydney and Brisbane.

18 New Doctors as our area continues to grow

👩‍⚕️New Interns for Port Macquarie Base Hospital 🧑‍⚕️

Today I had the pleasure of welcoming Meredith, Nadia, Presh*ta and Sparsh to Port Macquarie Base Hospital.

18 new doctors commenced orientation this week and will be entering a training program with networked hospitals throughout the state, providing formal and on the job training.

In the largest ever health workforce boost in the state, the NSW Government has invested a record $2.8 billion to recruit an additional 1,060 doctors, 5,000 nurses, 880 allied health staff and 1,360 hospital support staff over a four year period.
