It’s been an exciting and productive week.
Starting off with the collection of TSU samples to help build the genomic data set for the goat industry 🧬🧬🧬as well as WEC EBV collection 🪱🪱🪱from approximately 500 animals. We followed this up a couple of days later with EMD 💪💪💪and FAT scanning. A lot of RAW data collected overall. Now just to upload and submit to Sheep Genetics and wait for the results.

The Dubbo Showground saw a flurry of action at the inaugural Dorper and White Dorper sale. The sale was conducted by AWN, with AWN Parkes's Greg Miller as the Auctioneer and Scott Thrift overseeing the proceedings. Greg Miller's auctioneering drove strong bids, especially for the in-demand Dorper rams.

Despite tough conditions, a strong $1700 top price was reached, with Scott highlighting the exceptional value and promising future of this sale. Greg's auctioneering kept the momentum high, making it a successful day for buyers and sellers.
