Meet Our Head Chef, Caitlin
It’s about time we gave a proper introduction to the talent leading our kitchen.
Caitlin Baxter has been part of the Rosalie House family for the past 12 weeks, and at just 23 years old, she brings an incredible combination of skill, passion, and experience to our team.
Born and raised in Toowoomba, Caitlin began her culinary journey in 2021 when she started her apprenticeship at the renowned Encore’s Restaurant. It didn’t take long for her talent and dedication to shine through, earning her the prestigious Apprentice of the Year award in 2024.
That achievement led to a Queensland Overseas Foundation Scholarship, taking Caitlin to Europe, where she worked at Valour, a restaurant awarded two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence — a recognition reserved for restaurants demonstrating exceptional standards, precision, and consistency in their cooking.
After her time abroad, Caitlin was excited to return home to Queensland, be closer to family, and take on the role of Head Chef here at Rosalie House.
When she’s not creating beautiful dishes in the kitchen, you’ll find her line dancing, painting, belting out a singalong, or enjoying her favourite Disney movies.
We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a talented young chef leading our culinary team, and we can’t wait for you to experience her food.
