A day to step back, think differently, and connect ✨

This year’s Struxi Team Retreat took us to Gips Restaurant at the heritage Clifford House where creativity and leadership were elevated.

We were joined by Amy Willis , leadership specialist and LEGO Serious Play facilitator who led hands-on LEGO building activities focused on leadership and communication styles and Peter Richards , who guided a creative Design Thinking Drawing workshop 🎨, encouraging visual thinking and new approaches to problem-solving.

A big thank you to both Amy & Richard - opportunities like this allow us to challenge our thinking and continue evolving as a team.

It's almost handover for Gwydir Shire Council's new Administration Hub & Visitor Centre in Bingara 🙌 Thank you to Gwydir Shire Council for trusting us with this milestone project. We are proud of the how this new place reflects the needs, values and character of the local community, but it's the work of our Contractor Shay Brennan Constructions whose exceptional workmanship, dedication and pride in the project has transformed the vision into a meaningful community asset.

Work is nearly wrapped up on Stage 2 of the All Doors site at North & Isaac Street, North Toowoomba—and it’s looking sharp.
One tenancy is already snapped up, and the rest are ready for lease through your preferred agent. If you’re after a well-designed industrial space that doesn’t feel like a concrete box, this might be your moment.

BDQ 2025 Awards Night – A StruXi Story

Two weeks ago, Saturday night saw most of the StruXi crew suited up and sparkling at the BDQ 2025 Awards Night. While we didn’t walk away with a trophy this time (despite some mighty fine entries), we did walk away with full hearts, a few sore feet (perhaps heads), and a renewed determination to work even harder next year.

A huge congratulations to all the winners—your work was inspiring, and it was fantastic to see some fresh names on the podium. As a long-standing member of the BDQ community, it’s heartening to witness the growing quality, creativity, and camaraderie across the industry.

Well done to the organisers for a brilliant event, and well done to everyone who put their work forward. We’ll be back next year with sharpened pencils and even sharper ideas.

Designed within the State heritage-listed site of Boyce Gardens, StruXi was honoured to play a key role in enhancing this iconic space. Our work focused on creating a more inclusive and welcoming experience for all visitors—introducing a thoughtfully integrated accessibility ramp and redesigned carpark to ensure ease of access without compromising the site’s heritage character.

This project delivers a compact, purpose-built office that replaces a previously dilapidated dwelling, while retaining the existing café, all within a tight budget and challenging site constraints. Thoughtful design addresses accessibility and stormwater management on a limited site. The efficient layout provides private offices tailored to tenant needs, maximising natural light and comfort. A functional, landscaped staff courtyard offers a tranquil retreat.
