Upper Barwon Landcare Network will be hosting an introductory session for horse and other livestock owners interested in learning about keeping their horses, livestock and land healthy on Tuesday 15 November, 6:30pm at RGR Arena.

The evening will feature guest speaker Kathy Gabriel as she shares her experiences as a regenerative beef farmer.

Kathy will also delve into her love of horses and experience as a two-time participant of the Mongol Derby.

The introductory session will give an introduction to the ‘Small Blocks Big Dreams’ Horse and Other Livestock Owners Workshop Series.

The workshops aim to empower landholders to make informed environment and land management decisions to better their environment, horses and livestock.

Moving pigs between properties?

From 31 July 2022, movement of pigs between properties must be recorded on the PigPass database.

This includes movements of pet pigs and pigs that are being given away.

Improved tracing for disease and emergency purposes protects your pigs.
