It was an honour and a pleasure to be an integral part of this resilience-building initiative between Townsville Multicultural Support Group (TMSG) and Australian Red Cross for the development and co-design of TMSG’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

We’re still unsure whether it was luck or pure coincidence that we finalised this BCP a week prior to Townsville’s record-breaking rainfall throughout February and March of this year.

The great news? Because TMSG have thorough knowledge of their business functions and were completely invested in the planning process, they were able to effectively implement their BCP throughout the rain event, minimising impacts to their operations and resuming services in a timely manner.
