As a Wing Commander for the Royal Australian Air Force, Wing Commander Hoffman has navigated some of the most demanding environments in the world while leading with precision, purpose, and resilience. She brings with her a wealth of experience in leadership, strategic decision making, and breaking barriers in one of the most traditionally male dominated fields there is.

I was fortunate enough to spend some time with Dominique recently and after hearing a small part of her story, I’m certainly looking forward to hearing more.

NQ Women’s Leadership Forum Townsville

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Mo Mommersteeg to our incredible lineup of speakers!

Dr. Mo will discuss the physical manifestations of stress in our bodies. Often, stress. Whether from burnout, high-pressure situations, or challenging times, affects us not just mentally but physically as well, and we may not always recognise these signs.

She will share valuable techniques for identifying stress indicators and managing them effectively. This includes insights into how stress impacts sleep, injury, and pain, all within the framework of a biopsychosocial model that illustrates the interplay between our physical and mental health.

Jody has been on a remarkable personal journey following a breast cancer diagnosis. Throughout her treatment, she regularly shared updates highlighting the incredible support she received from her workplace and colleagues.

As we all know, when something significant happens in a colleague’s personal life and they return to work, it can be hard to know what to say or how to show up for them.
Jody will be sharing her tips and personal experience to help us help others.

Teresa is one of those people that makes you smile just by being in her presence. She is such a fabulous community supporter and advocate that we are very fortunate to have on our team.

Teresa will share her story and the importance of community connection especially if your work or personal life is in a state of change. Sometimes those community connections are the one consistent that helps you through a stressful situation.

The importance of giving back to community should never be overlooked and I can’t wait to hear from Teresa.
