𝗗𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗚𝗔. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄.

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 (𝟬𝟬𝟬) 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽, 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟯𝟮 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗤𝗟𝗗 𝗮𝗽𝗽.
𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮:
• River and creek levels are quickly rising.
• There may be some flooding near rivers and creeks.
• Very heavy rain may make it dangerous to drive.
• Heavy to intense rainfall could lead to further flash flooding.
• Flooding above ground floor level is possible in some places.
• Bridges and low-lying roads may be impacted by floodwater
• Local road closures are in place.
• King Tides are expected later this week.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗼:
• Decide if you and the people you live with will leave if floodwaters get close to your house.
• Warn friends, family and neighbours in the area. Help others if you can.
• Lift important things onto benches, tables, high shelves or upstairs.
• Move cars to high ground.
• If you find it hard to move quickly leaving early is safer than waiting. Call your support service, a family member or a friend to help.
• Get and fill sandbags and block doors to stop water getting inside.
• You can get sand from:

• Use sandbags to block toilets, sinks and drains to stop sewerage backflow.
• Stay away from rivers and creeks.
• Never drive, walk, ride through, play or swim in flood water. If it’s flooded, forget it.
• Drive to conditions and remain alert. Be aware of road hazards including road closures and debris.
• Obey all signs about road closures and instructions from emergency services.
