With a warmer and drier spring forecast for Victoria, preparation ahead of the coming fire season is more important than ever.

At LSK Contracting, we’re proud to support bushfire preparedness and response across Gippsland through vegetation management, fire prevention works, access and road clearing, and emergency response.

Having worked alongside emergency management agencies during some of Victoria’s most challenging fire events, we know how important the work undertaken before fire season arrives can be.

A timely reminder for all of us to prepare early, stay informed and be ready for the season ahead.

What a lovely surprise to see LSK Contracting nominated for the People’s Choice Award in the Latrobe City Business Awards. 💛

For those who don’t know, LSK stands for Luke, Suz & Kids….a name that reflects exactly where our business started and what continues to drive us today.

Over the years, some of the work that has meant the most to us has been helping to protect our communities, forests and the people who call Gippsland home.

During bushfire season and emergency events, our team and machinery can be called upon to work in some pretty tough conditions constructing and maintaining firebreaks and access tracks, clearing dangerous vegetation, supporting fire response operations, reopening roads and tracks, and helping with clean-up and recovery following fires and severe storms.

It’s work we’re incredibly proud to do and never take for granted.

Outside of fire and emergency response, we’re equally proud of the civil earthworks, forestry, vegetation management and maintenance projects we complete throughout Gippsland.

We employ locally, support other local businesses wherever we can, and genuinely love working in the communities that have supported LSK over the years.

So to see LSK Contracting nominated for a People’s Choice Award means a lot to us. 💛
