Strong partnerships are built on shared values. Our work at Sea Forest relies on collaboration to realize the impact.

Leading Australian farmers are showing that sustainability, methane reduction, and premium quality are not competing priorities.

At Providore Global producing exceptional beef starts long before it reaches the plate. By incorporating SeaFeed™ into their farming practices, they are embracing an innovative approach that reflects the same high standards we strive for every day.

We are proud to support producers who are setting sustainability benchmarks for world-class beef. Together, we are helping build a future where premium beef production and responsible farming go hand in hand.

Healthy oceans depend on healthy ecosystems.

The Sea Forest Foundation was established as a registered environmental not-for-profit to support the restoration and protection of Tasmania’s giant kelp forests through science, collaboration, and community support.

By supporting the Foundation, you’re helping advance critical restoration efforts and contributing to a future where these iconic underwater ecosystems can thrive once again.

If you’d like to be part of this journey, you can support the Foundation through the link in our bio.

Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming Her Excellency the honorable Caroline Wells Governor of Tasmania and Dr Walters to Sea Forest.

This visit was an opportunity for us to reflect on what it means to be Tasmanian. Sea Forest was built from a vision that Tasmania’s unique natural environment, scientific expertise and entrepreneurial spirit could help solve some of the world’s biggest challenges. Every step of our journey has been shaped by this place and the people who call it home.

From our earliest days to the recognition of our co-founder Sam Elsom as Tasmanian Australian of 2025, this journey has always been grounded in a belief that innovation from Tasmania can have an impact far beyond our island state.

We will always be proud of our Tasmanian roots and thankful to everyone across government and community who has supported and been a part of our journey.

Earth Day reminds us that progress is possible when farmers, industry, governments and communities move together. It reinforces why Sea Forest exists: to turn Australian innovation into global environmental outcomes. In celebration, we look forward to sharing some exciting news in the coming days 🌎🌱🙏🏼

We were delighted to welcome King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark to view giant kelp restoration in action in Tasmania and learn about the work we’re doing through the Sea Forest Foundation, UTAS and partners.

95% of Tasmania’s giant kelp forests have been lost and this comparative effort across science, industry and government is making a difference.
