Established in 2003, RZK Group works with Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney clients in the residential, commercial, industrial, retail and aged care sectors to provide a fully integrated architectural design and Project Management services. Offering the key disciplines of Architecture, Interior Design and Project Management, our clients have the choice of as much or as little involvement as they wish. Based on the Central Coast, our team comprises a Registered Architect, a very experienced Associate and a Project Manager who has worked on many successful building projects. Together, they have over 50 years of experience in design and construct, so your architectural and construction project is in good hands. RZK Group has been involved in an extensive range of architectural projects including:

Accessible spaces begin with thoughtful design.

At RZK Group, our strong background in commercial architecture has made accessibility an essential part of our practice. Considering how people enter, move through and use a building from the earliest design stages helps us embed universal design principles and create inclusive spaces.

Today, we are taking that commitment further. Our Principal Architect, Claudia Rosznercki, is undertaking the Access Institute’s access consulting course for architects, expanding her knowledge of the Premises Standards, Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards and Disability Discrimination Act.

We look forward to five weeks of learning and bringing deeper accessibility knowledge to our design reviews, project coordination and everyday practice.

This sequence follows a design from hand sketch to digital model, Enscape render and AI assisted visualisation.

Early design studies…

Exploring how changerooms, public amenities and covered circulation can come together under one simple roof form.

We are currently working on a new sports facility incorporating changerooms, public amenities, a kiosk and training facilities, with covered spaces for gathering, circulation and flexible use.

There is plenty to consider, from participants and students to spectators, accessibility and inclusion, all with the aim of creating a place that works well and can be enjoyed by everyone.

Exciting to be part of this project and we cannot wait to see how it evolves.

How big does your backyard need to be for a pool?

Sometimes, not as big as you think.

We are finishing the design of this project on a steep site with a relatively small backyard, where creating a generous outdoor area and pool initially seemed challenging.

Rather than seeing the slope and limited space as restrictions, we worked with the levels of the site to create a series of landscaped terraces, incorporating a lap pool, integrated spa, wet edge and outdoor areas within the available space.

Every site comes with its own constraints. Sometimes the solution is not about having more space, but making better use of the space you already have.

Our Amaroo project is heading back to Council with an amendment (S4.55), and before we move into the next chapter, it feels like a good time to reflect on what has made this project so special.

Amaroo has been one of our most meaningful residential projects, not only because of the architecture, but because of the people and the story behind it.

We are often asked to design homes inspired by a particular look, trend or something seen elsewhere. Amaroo was different.

Our clients came to us with a clear vision of how they wanted their home to feel and how they wanted to live in it. The site already held its own stories and unique natural features. Our role was to listen, understand and translate that vision into a home that was uniquely theirs.

The result is a home that is not trying to follow a trend. It is warm, timeless and grounded in its landscape, with natural materials and a palette that feels at home in its surroundings.
Most importantly, it feels like it belongs to them.
