RANT TIME !
So on the 25th of may I called Brian Hilton Gosford to report some shuddering in the front end of our Renault trafic our primary work van that carry’s all our glass to job sites ! This van has under 150,000 km on the clock and is still under warranty, they advised the first time they could even take a look at it would be Wednesday 17th of June ( that was 24 days away ) 8 days later this problem was getting worse so I decided we could no longer drive the car so I had it towed to the service centre assuming they would look at this and diagnose the problem , WRONG ! They told me it was booked in on the 17th and that’s when it will get looked at , once Again we explained our work situation but it didn’t make any difference, after numerous phone calls I drove to the dealer to plead with them to look at our car , the service manger advised me that they just scanned the car and told me the gearbox needs to be taken out 🤨 and guess what ? they are going to do this on the 17th of June the date they gave me 3 weeks prior 😤 I asked him about a loan car whilst they fix the issue and he told me this might be possible once they order parts for the repair . Overall this has been a p**s poor effort on their end , maybe a ford transit will be on the cards when I buy my next van
