🚨 Safety Reminder 🚨

Please do not place flares or lithium batteries in kerbside bins or dispose of them at the transfer station.

These items are causing an increase in fires in collection trucks and waste facilities, putting drivers and staff at risk. This week someone got rid of these flares, luckily they were spotted by a staff member before they became an issue. This is also an ongoing issue with other contractors in the area.

✔ Recycle lithium batteries at approved drop-off points. We have been advised that Coles, Drakes and Bunnings in Port Lincoln accept these but you should double check with them first.
✔ Dispose of flares through your local police station.

Please help keep everyone safe by disposing of these items correctly.

Bottle and can recycling will not be available this Monday (Australia Day), but the transfer station will be open from 2pm to 4pm.
