Tweed Heads Return and Earn

♻️ Recycling for a Cause at Tweed Heads

The children from Kingscliff Seventh-Day Adventist Church are getting creative with their fundraising as part of this year’s Freedom Challenge, in partnership with Captivating International.

While many participants are taking on walking and running challenges throughout August, the Kingscliff Church community has also been collecting eligible bottles and cans to help raise funds.

The money raised will support programs working to protect women and children from exploitation and human trafficking in Nepal and the Philippines.

It’s wonderful to see recycling being used to make an impact both locally and around the world. 🌏💚

A big thank you to everyone involved for choosing to Return and Earn for such an important cause. ♻️

Congratulations to the Murwillumbah Netball Club on an outstanding season!

The club has achieved exceptional results this year, competing at the State Championships and playing in the Elite Premier League—a fantastic achievement for the team.

By recycling eligible drink containers through Return and Earn, the club has raised $600 in just three months. These funds have helped pay for team uniforms and reduce player fees, making it easier for more athletes to take part.

Pictured is Troy Liles, the team's manager and proud father of one of the players. Thank you to Troy and everyone involved for turning recycling into real support for the club and the local community. 👏💚

Lynette and Brian popped into our Drive-in Return and Earn depot in Tweed Heads just for a change, as they usually use our Cardiff depot.

They live in Newcastle but loved holidaying in Coolangatta.
They are regular customers of our site in Cardiff and were excited to find we had a depot in the Tweed.

We actually have ten Vinnies Drive-in Return and Earn depots around the state, so if anyone needs an excuse for a road trip.....

This is David and his mate.

He has rallied his neighbours in their residential complex to collect containers so they can buy a Defibrillator and make it publicly accessible.

A great cause and we're delighted to be processing all bottles and cans for them.

Regardless of what you are collecting for, come along and try our drive-in automated Return and Earn depot on Ourimbah Road. It's so fast & easy and we pay the funds straight into your account by EFTPOS.

Since starting to use our drive-in Return & Earn depot in Tweed Heads, Tanya has collected over $400. This has been spent on her beloved camper Reggie, who needed a bit of TLC including a new air compressor. It's great that she can now continue her touring in comfort

She was also kind enough to say that she really enjoys coming here as guys are so nice and helpful.

Thanks Tanya, we appreciate you using our depot, as every time you earn cash from your containers so do Vinnies, as we are paid a processing fee by the scheme which helps support our work in the community.

Back in Aug 2021, one of our first customers was Sharon who is a partner in a local transport company.

They took one of our bins for the staff to fill with their drinks containers and the money collected go towards their Christmas party.

Sharon has passed this task to her daughter Ellen, who we look forward to becoming a regular at our drive-in Vinnies depot.

No matter what you use the cash for, our drive-in automated depot is so quick and easy to use. Our friendly staff are always on hand, just drive in, unload and we'll process everything for you. The cash is in your bank in minutes by EFTPOS, so don't forget your bank card.

"Every week, we visit Tweed Heads Return and Earn as my elderly father collects cans from all the apartments in our village to fund his daily newspapers.

The staff are always friendly and jovial, making each visit a pleasure. We genuinely appreciate the welcoming atmosphere here. Thank you for making this a positive part of our weekly routine."

Thanks for the kind words Leanne, really glad you like our service.
