Conveniently located an hour East of Melbourne, Cannibal Creek Vinyard (Winery, Restaurant, Cellar Door) is a small, award-winning, single estate Vinyard owned and operated by Pat and Kirsten Hardiker. We offer French-inspired wine, and food using locally acquired ingredients in a smart, relaxed country setting. All Cannibal Creek wine is picked and made onsite by hand using traditional methods an

d French oak. The Cellar Door offers a warm, friendly spot to sample the range of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blanc de Blanc, Vin de Liqueur. The restaurant menu is centred around using local produce to showcase the best of what Gippsland has to offer. The Cannibal Creek Restaurant reflects Australian country living through its corrugated iron, wood fire, produce-driven food and wine, and large covered verandah, perfect for taking in some country calm while staying within easy commute back to Melbourne. We are open for lunch Friday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm with an a la carte menu available and are now open for dinner on Friday nights from 6pm to 9pm.

Food has taken me on an incredible journey - from studying and working in Tokyo, to leading kitchens across Melbourne and the Yarra Valley.
Over the last 14 years, I've had the opportunity to work with Japanese, Italian, French, and modern Australian cuisines, learning from different cultures and culinary traditions along the way. My philosophy is simple: great food starts with great ingredients. I love creating seasonal dishes that celebrate local produce and pair beautifully with our wines. Whether it's a casual lunch, a special celebration, or a wine tasting experience, my goal is to create food that brings people together and leaves a lasting impression.
