ARENA's new $30 million Launchpad Program provides funding to early-stage Australian clean energy startups and the organisations that support them. The program offers grants of up to $1 million for startups and up to $5 million for ecosystem partners, with applications for the Startup Funding Round closing on 28 October 2026.

Launchpad is here to support the future of Australia's renewable energy and climate tech startups.

Clean energy startups need funding and a strong ecosystem around them to succeed. Our exciting new program does both.

Launchpad has 2 parts:
- startup funding for early-stage startups aligned with ARENA’s mandate
- ecosystem funding for partners that help energy and climate businesses develop and grow.

By backing innovators early and strengthening the organisations around them, we can help more Australian renewable energy technologies progress – and help lower Australia’s emissions.
