Flashback Friday! 🎉

With more than 26 years of Austek Play behind us, we're looking back at some of our favourite projects.

This week we're heading back to Point Talburpin, Redland Bay, where we worked alongside Interface Landscapes to deliver this standout Cemer Tower in 2024. The fresh green colour palette complements the natural bayside setting, while the tower's tall, open design creates a striking landmark that's visible from across the park.

Key features:
• The iconic Cemer Tower creates a strong visual focal point and destination within the playspace
• Internal rope climbing challenges help build capable bodies, encouraging strength, balance, coordination and confidence through play
• The open tower design provides visibility throughout the structure, helping kids stay connected while they climb and explore
• A combination of climbing nets, lookout spaces and a large stainless steel tunnel slide keeps play engaging from ground level up

Cemer Playground Equipment

Thanks to Noosa Council for sharing this great video of Pioneer Park!
The upgraded space brings new play experiences to the Cooran community, including a brand-new play tower with a custom roof, a custom rope bridge connecting new and existing play elements, and new timber play features designed to encourage active, imaginative play. Combined with upgraded landscaping, retaining walls and softfall, the park is now an even more welcoming place for families to play, connect and enjoy the outdoors.

We're proud to have been part of this exciting project and look forward to sharing more photos and project details soon.

A big milestone for the local community.

We were proud to work alongside Liverpool City Council Australia to deliver Local Park 22 in Austral, creating a new playground and community space designed to bring people together through play, movement and connection.

✓ A 6.5-metre tower designed to give children views over this rapidly growing area.
✓ Inclusive play opportunities that encourage children of all abilities to play together.
✓ A mix of active, sensory and imaginative play experiences that keep kids engaged and moving.

Just like its real-life inspiration, this squirrel glider was made for climbing, exploring, and adventure.

At Lake Munmorah Park, this custom BOULDERING® unit celebrates the regions connection to a vulnerable native species, bringing local wildlife into the heart of the playspace.
Natural colours reflect the glider’s appearance, with climbing opportunities for all ages and abilities.

Designed with input from Central Coast Council and the local community, and delivered in collaboration with Glascott, it’s a space shaped by local voices and inspired by local wildlife.

We were proud to work alongside Lake Macquarie City Council to deliver this new community playspace at Keith Barry Oval, creating a welcoming destination where children can climb, swing, spin and explore.

✓ Custom marine-grade Omnitech Extreme playground packed with climbing, sliding and imaginative play opportunities
✓Multi-user swing with infant, strap and basket seats to support a range of ages and abilities
✓ Interactive play elements including a Kookaburra Springer, Cobra Spinner , 4 In A Row and Flower Shop play panels that encourage movement and social play
✓ A mix of certified playbark and rubber softfall to provide safe and comfortable play experiences
✓ New seating, bins and pathways to create an inviting space for families to enjoy.
