A few weeks ago, I had the honour of creating a Cami Bear for a precious little boy named Ari, who was taken far too soon. ❤️

Ari’s family found so much comfort in holding and cuddling his bear that it was rarely put down. They decided to have a second, medium-sized Cami Bear made especially for Ari’s little sister, so she could have her own special bear to cuddle close each night.

There is something so precious about being able to wrap your arms around a little piece of someone you love and miss so deeply 🧸❤️

This week a beautiful, soft & cuddly Cami Bear went home to hold the ashes of Roxy – a much loved family pet 🤍

There are days when missing them feels too big for words. That is when you need something soft to hold.
These bears aren't made by me. Each one is handcrafted by Camille at Cami Bear Australia, with a discreet zippered opening and a satin drawstring bag inside to safely hold a pet's ashes, a little fur, or a collar tag. They come in three sizes and are designed to be cuddled.

I keep one in my consult room here in Bayles for exactly this reason. People come in grieving and when they pick him up, you can watch their shoulders drop. It is comfort you have to feel.

Some creations stay with me long after they leave my studio, like these two Cami Bear's created for beautiful Ella, whose time here ended far too soon.

Over the last 6 months, her lovely Mum and I carefully planned every detail of these. From the rainbow coloured wildflowers that she loved so much, Ella's precious cat JoJo and Forget-Me-Nots, echoed in the fairy’s hand, that represent a deep loving bond that can never be broken.

These bears are more than cremation urns. They are a place for memories, for tears, for loving hugs that hold the bond between a mother and daughter that will continue forever.

To this beautiful family, thank you for trusting me with creating a place for Ella to rest in your arms ❤️ and give comfort to your broken hearts.

Today is my Dads Memorial, where we are placing his ashes next to Mum in a beautiful rainforest garden. I made a sweet bear so some of his ashes can go back to his homeland NZ. Looking forward to being together with my family today as we celebrate Dad's life🥹.
