Carefully handcrafted from rich Marri and Jarrah timber - all locally sourced from Donnybrook - these grazing boards were created by Timber Grooves for a local real estate company, Busselton Agency.

Given to new homeowners as a thoughtful welcome, each board is a finely crafted piece of WA timber, ready to be enjoyed from day one.

Blackbutt Table | Handcrafted & Bound for Brisbane 🌿

From concept to creation - this custom Blackbutt dining table was flat pack designed, crafted, and finished right here in WA before making the journey across the country to its new home in Brisbane.

Each stage of the process - from CAD design to the final sealed finish - was a blend of precision, craftsmanship, and the natural beauty of Blackbutt timber.

Spiral Staircase | Marri Timber from Donnybrook 🌳

I handpicked these beautiful Marri slabs from a local Donnybrook timber mill - managed to find enough from a single tree to make every tread for this Perth renovation.

After several visits to the home to understand the builder’s vision, I created precision laser-cut templates for each tread (every one was unique!) and used my CNC router to cut them to size.

The client wanted a custom stain with a non-slip rated polyurethane finish- matching the house décor was no easy task, but nailed it first go. Each tread was stained, sprayed, and finished with care.

Installation took two days - working bottom-up to get a perfect fit with the gyprock. A few fine adjustments, but overall a seamless result.

A huge challenge, but thoroughly enjoyed it. My 25 years as a machinist - including 12 years in aerospace and F1 - definitely helped bring the precision this staircase needed.
