We are pleased to be able to partner with City Of Port Phillip to offer their residents a drop point for their unwanted electrical items with these new high-capacity e-waste recycling bins located at local libraries in Albert Park, Port Melbourne and St Kilda.

Hobsons Bay City Council arranged with Sims Recycling Solutions their yearly E Waste Recycling Event for residents and small businesses on Saturday 17th Nov 2018 from 8 am to 3 pm. 580 vehicles took advantage of the FREE drop off service. Items recycled included computers, laptops, monitors, Tv’s, cameras, printers, mobile phones, cables, scanners and household electronics.

A STEP FORWARD- WELL DONE QLD, It's a start!

"The Queensland government is introducing a $70 per tonne (and up to $150 per tonne for highly contaminated materials) waste levy to discourage both state and interstate companies from sending their rubbish to the state’s landfills"

Another successful E-waste Drop Off Event, Done! Last month few of us volunteered to help the residents of the Hills dispose of their unwanted electronic items.

Why volunteer? We do get free chocolate muffins... but it’s also fun, a great team bonding activity and the perfect excuse to speak with residents about E-Waste recycling.

Top questions answered:
✅ YES, we are the Recycler
✅ YES, all equipment will be processed locally, at our secure facility in Villawood (NSW)
⛔️ NO, we do NOT export whole product overseas or to Third world countries.
